When representing decimals, it's important to remember, that all the numbers before the decimal all the numbers before it are whole number/s, and all the number/s after the decimal are less than one. When using word form to write a number, you must remember that when you come to the decimal, say and instead of point. To represent decimals in standard form, is in its real way, such as, 0.58. Torepresent a decimal in expanded form, is a sum of the products of each digit and its place value. Example problem 1. Write 17.892 down in word form.
2. Write twelve, and eight-two hundredths down in standard form.
3. Write 0.12 down in expanded form.
